ABOUT
When did learning start to feel like hard work? And when technology has so many answers, what’s really worth learning anyway?
At Curiosity Workshops, the skills and knowledge associated with maths and languages are part of what is explored away from books and screens, into areas of genuine interest: arts, crafts and music; astronomy and navigation; food and cooking; nature and wildlife; sport and games; to take a few.
What’s more, maths and languages can be fascinating grounds for exploration in their own right, especially if their significance - and their limitations - are on the table.
At Curiosity Workshops, DIY instruments and gadgets invite dynamic, hands-on and practical learning. Designed with 10 years of experience in teaching around maths, languages and the learning process, each reveals insights into the design, evolution and functionality of these rich subjects often taken at face value.
Afterall, maths is just a word…
